MNT1996 Verified Member Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 I love the shift so much when it works for us and when it doesn't work for the other team
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 What a Taylor made double play!
Blake Verified Member Posted July 13, 2019 Author Posted July 13, 2019 Is it getting to be time for the FO to think about offering a contract to Rogers?
glunn Community Moderator Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Can't keep running Rogers out there for 6 and 7 out saves. They really need a couple arms that can be trusted with a late lead.I was hoping that he could get through the 8th with 12 pitches or so. Now that he had 16 I am hoping he is done for tonight.
Blake Verified Member Posted July 13, 2019 Author Posted July 13, 2019 I think we see Parker next inning. I think Rogers was brought in to face Clevelands best hitters. Edit: Got that wrong. Not sure I like this, because it takes Rogers off the table for at least a day.
glunn Community Moderator Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 It would be nice to bat around in the 9th to make it clear to the Indians that their season is over.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Barring a big inning, I'm guessing Rogers gets the ninth.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Way to lead it off Buxton!
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Buxton leading off. Get on and get in.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Run, Byron, run.I may not be a smart man Jenny!
glunn Community Moderator Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Barring a big inning, I'm guessing Rogers gets the ninth.I hope that we have a big inning, but if not, I agree with you that it's not smart to put Rogers back out there.
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Buxton is only 80% stealing this year. . . . What a disappointment.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Odd that Buxton didn’t attempt to steal IMO.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Buxton is only 80% stealing this year. . . . What a disappointment.True, last year, he was much better, 100%.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Odd that Buxton didn’t attempt to steal IMO.For as fast as he is, he’s exceedingly cautious.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Odd that Buxton didn’t attempt to steal IMO.He's been reluctant to go all year, IMO.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 For as fast as he is, he’s exceedingly cautious. You’re already up 2 runs. Serms like an ideal time.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Polanco is an extreme contact hitter. For sure going here.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 pretty conservative lead, too.
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 The wheels on the Bux go ‘round and ‘round.
Danchat Verified Member Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Well, there's your stolen base you guys have been waiting for. Now can we get a hit...?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 I don't think I've ever seen the 2nd base ump get hit by a throw from the catcher.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Well, there's your stolen base you guys have been waiting for. Now can we get a hit...?If he steals 2nd and 3rd on Kep's AB, he scores on the Polanco short fly ball.
