8 games is a big lead, but if the Twins don’t get a solid bullpen they will probably not win the division

Disappointing series against the second worst team in the majors

In case you missed it, yesterday Cleveland's pitcher, Civale, in his major league debut pitched 6 innings of scoreless ball and gave up two hits.

 

And today, another Cleveland rookie pitcher, Plesac, went 7 innings and gave up 1 run and 5 hits.

 

I thought the Twins were the guys who all these great pitching prospects.

From my observation Castro has plenty of strikeout looking, esp with runners in scoring position. I would like to see him become more aggressive in that situation. Btw, I am not interested in seeing him and Schoop in Twins uniform next season.
