Starting to rain again. Be a shame if the Twins don't get a chance to make up 7 runs in 6 outs.

I'm starting to think Mejia will clear waivers. Though I'd still drop Magill first.

it sounds like Falvine are pretty keen on Magill...when Moya is ready to return I’d DFA Mejia to make room. I still think he can be a quality pitcher, but man he’s been struggling in conversion to the bullpen.

Mejia in Spanish means “walks a lot of batters”. I must say he looks rather svelte compared to Pineda. Thanks for helping the bullpen out Mejia!

When Cole is on.... he is a Cy Young guy. In his prime and dealing. I wonder if Houston fans were calling him a nibbler in his first games this year as he dialed in his control......

The clueless ones...so probably, yes :) But he had a 3.29 FIP and leading the league in K’s heading into this game. So, not exactly struggling. This is what a number two starter on a championship team looks like.

Mejia was good at one time wasn’t he

Not is my opinion. A few good outings. Some always say they love his stuff. I don't get it.

There has been a bunch of poundage on the mound today for the Twins.

This may be bad for our run differential, but might as well get this out of the way in a game that we weren't gonna win in the first place.

No relief from Harper.... 3 more Inherited runners scored. is that 8 out of 12 now for the year?

One game. He’s not too bad. If stretched out he can start in a pinch.

He had a good first week of the season, but he's earned his 8.74 ERA thus far. He's consistently struggling to throw strikes. I'm not advocating for his DFA yet, and it's nice that he can go multiple innings, but he's looked brutal over several stretches thus far.

With Perez in the rotation, they really don't have a long 3+ inning arm, do they? Magill might've done it a couple of times last year.
