Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 HAHHAHAHAHA. I know it helps the Twins, but Angel Hernandez is HORRIBLE.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Never change, Angel Hernandez. Never change. The 2-2 pitch was more of a strike than that 3-2 pitch was. But we'll take it.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Tomorrow's a new day. Maybe we can steal a day game we have no business winning? Another night game tomorrow with an off day following.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Annnnnnnd, that'll send me off to hockey permanently. Nice game there Duffey.
twins_89 Verified Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Angel Hernandez is the poster child for automating the calling of balls and strike. He has absolutely no consistency behind the plate.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Just kinda sneaked over the wall... or something...
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 WOW -- that thing was crushed. Wonder what time Duffey's flight to Rochester leaves tomorrow?
NorthwestTwinsFan Provisional Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 I really hope that, at some point, the Twins front office understands that the bullpen is somewhat important and needs to be addressed.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 We don’t need bullpen help. We’re good with this.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 It’s Duffey Time!Unfortunately!
Danchat Verified Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Can we finally DFA Duffey after this? We've seen more than enough of him. This is year 3 in the bullpen for him, and the lights aren't coming on.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 WOW -- that thing was crushed. Wonder what time Duffey's flight to Rochester leaves tomorrow? And will he get there before the baseball gets there?
jtkoupal Verified Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 I just have a feeling that Tyler Duffey's days are numbered... With Magill, Moya, and Reed coming back in the near future, along with the Twins need for a starter tomorrow, gotta wonder what Duffey's chances are.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Well at least Duffey is giving his hometown a treat tonight
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Folks talked like Pineda was going to be a good addition to the starters too. NOT. I'm surprised, with all that off time, he didn't diet some and get rid of the tonage.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Altuve's ball still hasn't landed!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 I felt good up 3-0 in the first.
bighat Verified Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Twins need a ton of arms right about now. Time for a major shakeup? Or do they look at Cleveland and just kinda keep playing in 9-7 ball games until the deadline?

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Duffey is too good for AAA, and can't quite do it in the show. It is Houston, though. He may need to go to Japan to cash in and get rich.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 We don’t need bullpen help. We’re good with this. It might be nice if Baldelli would recognize better when it's time to change pitchers. So far, my biggest critique of him is leaving guys in a bit past their expiration date and then the results start turning sour.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Altuve's ball still hasn't landed! We joke a lot on here, but that was a prodigious home run shot, if there ever was one.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 We only need 6 runs! And the mop up guy is in..... should be a piece of cake.
twins_89 Verified Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 The Twins bullpen reinforcements from Rochester have left a lot to be desired. De Jong, Vasquez, Duffey, and sadly Romero have all had major problems at the major league level.
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Defense = FAILHernandez = FAIL Feel bad for Duffey ... I wanted him to have a good inning after reading Brandon's piece ... Have to give him a mulligan (although he did contribute with his own error) ... Spun out of control

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 The Astros are good, the twins are almost good
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 I have always thought, that when a pitcher causes the unearned runs with his own error, that they should be earned. It was the pitcher that threw the ball... that is his job, and he shouldn't get off the hook for creating all 4 of his own unearned runs that are charged to him.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 At least we don’t play Houston again until ...*checks schedule* ...next week.
