Wow, that's not exactly the way I wanted Carasco to be knocked out of the game.

I hope it's nothing serious.

That was an MLB: The Show kind of line drive off the pitcher...except in the game, they're usually okay somehow. Hope Carrasco's not too hurt.

Agreed. Tough way to leave the game. Tough out for Joe unfortunately as well, for what it's worth.

Two at-bats, two solid pieces of contact. Good to see. He's really squaring them up.

Romero may think major league is too easy and he leaves way too many hittable pitches in the middle of the plate, he is going to be crushed.

Well, that was stupid. You'd think this team would be halfway decent on the base paths with Molitor as manager.

To be fair to Rosario, there's really no reason for Joe to bluff there. The outfielder is going to throw home no matter what.

My frustration with this is that even if Mauer is thrown out at home (likely) and Rosario stays at second, moving up a base doesn't really do anything to improve Rosario's chances of scoring.  He'll still likely score on a base hit with 2 outs anyway.

Romero hasn't been too good after those first couple of games. I hope Molitor goes to the pen before he gives up the lead. He should be pulled if he makes it through the 4th IMO.

And another stupid play.

Edit: worked out ok, but there is still no reason for Rosario to be throwing home there.

thank god eddie hits the stuffing out of the ball because his throwing defense stinks

also, what has happened to romero?

Kinda damned if you do, damned if you don't. Not like we can really trust 5 innings from our bullpen either.

Its a shame too because he has a great arm but so many of his throws are way off the mark or he makes stupid throws where he has 0 chance of getting the runner and it allows another runner to advance.

In terms of Romero, he is a young rookie. People were getting all excited over a sample size of like 3 or 4 games and expected him to maintain that indefinitely? Some ups and downs should be expected with someone that young.

C'mon Dozier, don't go trying to take off your leg protector like you just took ball 4, that wasn't even a pitchers pitch on the corner or something.

Wow. Just perused Gamecast and saw bases loaded, one out, and we dribbled it down our leg. The Twins aren't a good enough team to overcome that.

Magill's fastball has good velocity and his pitch selection and location are both relatively good.
