Berries gave the Twins exactly what they needed. The bullpen gets a much-needed day completely off, so it should be all-hands-on-deck this weekend vs the Angels.

 

This is the Twins team that can challenge the Indians. If they play this through the next three series, the AL Central is going to be tight again, and some ground will be gained in the Wild Card race as well, perhaps.

 

I'm not saying the pitcher is going to pitch a complete game every day, but good pitching, defense, and hitting up to potential will get the team back in the race quickly.

Was at the park...the nice thing about it is that it was a low laser...could have been cut off at mound depth if necessary. It looked ‘purposeful’ and under control. Encouraging.

Just saw the replays on Quick Pitch. Pedro Martinez, one of the top 5 pitchers ever (in my opinion) said Jose reminded him of himself. I hope Jose and his family have that taped. It was a very special compliment. If Jose can keep this up, and be anywhere near as successful as Pedro, we will be enjoying the ride. Extend him now!!

 

And extend Rosario now!!
