I love when Paul plays with fire

That would explain the odd background audio that the Fox parabolic mike is picking up from the visiting dugout...

I don't know who I blame more...Molitor or Grossman.

I'm with you there.

We're seeing the return of Grossman 1.0 versus Grossman 2.0 of last year.

Is our bullpen that bad that we are leaving a guy in that has been getting hit all game to throw 106 pitches? Sadly I know the answer is yes but its just horrible.

So....Molly leaves in his starter.....I'm sure everyone ripping him for an early hook will stay totally consistent in their criticism!

But seriously Molly....keep Grossman out of the outfield.

The bullpen is trash as we’ll know, but I’ll still take most of them over a guy clearly out of gas.

Grossman saving the lives of his fellow outfielders with that brave play on an errant grenade to right...

Brave indeed, but no lives saved. Grossman missed the grenade by several feet.

Crazy that a bunch of men behind a keyboard could out-manage the "AL Manager of the year"

I get what you're saying and the man has certainly forgot more about baseball than most of us will ever know. With that said I don't think he deserved that last year. I know we went worst to the playoff but I think that had more to do with good play than good managing. In my opinion he was flat out out-managed in the playoff game last year plus im sure plenty more. I don't think I could do a better job than Paul but I do think that they could have found someone better to do the job. That is where any of my complaints come from.

Who's ripping Molly for his early hook??

In all seriousness... It wasn't hard to predict what Molly was going to do. We entered the inning with Abreu leading off and Odorizzi coming up on 100 pitches.

1. Sanchez (S)

2. Anderson ®

3. Abreu ®

4. Delmonico (L)

5. Davidson ®

6. Palka (L)

7. Thompson ®

8. Narvaez (L)

9. Engel ®

Odorizzi was going to face the first three batters come hell or high water. R-L-R

Rogers was warming up in the pen... He was getting Palka through Narvaez. L-R-L

Hildenberger or a different righthander will come in and face Engel and remain in the game until Palka again R-S-R-R-L-R

He must be referring to when people got upset about berrios being pulled so the pen could “get some work” or when Gibson was taken out in NY with 90ish pitches.

no, no it wasn't.  Several of us predicted it. Let Odorizzi lose the lead, THEN go the pen anyway. Come hell or high water.

You haven't been.  There were all those threads this week with "Why didn't he leave Gibson in!" and the same with Berrios.

Not sure what that's supposed to mean, but I live on the south side ... in a great neighborhood.

Ya don't live at Comiskey, tho...

Do ya?

Sometimes Molitor is a victim of really bad pitching.

Other times Molitor just makes terrible decisions that could be seen coming a mile away. Between the two, the Twins have sure lost a lot of games...
