Danchat Verified Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 Yup, the White Sox were licking their chops coming into this series. Oh wait, I thought it was the 8th inning. Whoops. Game over!

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 We were up 5-1 in this game, during the 5th inning. We lose 6-5. Yes, it is on the pitchers, but not being able to score any more runs against one of the most mediocre staffs in baseball is not doing anyone any favors. Anyhow, we weren't going to win every game. However, anything less than 3 of the next 3 is a major disappointment. Goodnight all. I second this, to a point. The bats completely went to sleep for 5 innings. But Paul mismanaged his starting pitcher, again. But again, you don’t sink to the bottom 5 of the league without a total team effort Mill1634 and David HK 2

However, it is frustrating when it seems as if there are betting options in the wings. (Wade for Grossman anyone)? jokin 1
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 So the reds haven’t won since they beat us on Sunday and the White Sox just won for the first time since Saturday. Yeesh David HK 1
twins_89 Verified Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 Twins bullpen 4-8 in win-loss record and 3-8 in saves vs save opportunities. It's going to be hard to be in the playoff race if our relief pitchers can't turn things around.
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 Well I can't get these 3 hours back. Next time, think about multi-tasking.... at least then, you'd only lose an hour and a half.... Riverbrian and Blake 2
gil4 Verified Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 fun with numbers courtesy of the Sox broadcast: the last 7 times Pressly has pitched the Twins have lostPressly's fault, again. (Yeah, I know he was no longer pitching.)

So you're saying you've had somewhere around 966 posts that have not been unusual? That estimate seems a little high. Blake and Mike Sixel 2
