Esco should have had the bunt sign on.  Assuming he gets it down; runner on third.  No double play right there. At least one more at-bat.

Rosario stays on second with the ground ball and there is no double play in order either.

I think Hughes is on the official postseason roster. As is Sano. So they can add or subtract based on the DL.

Oh, I'm sure he's eligible. The question is twofold. How many pitchers? Which ones?

 

It's worth noting that the Twins only have 15 active position players, one of whom is Niko Goodrum. A veteran MLB guy like Matt Hague might have been a useful player to have around, especially with Sano likely out.
