I just took a stopwatch to that play. It took 5.1 seconds between bat contact and the ball hitting Mauer's glove.

I was at the Trop in May. It's better than the Metrodome. It's probably what the Metrodome would be if it was allowed to exist in 2017 as a ballpark.
