Angels and Yankees just keep winning, and we're giving games away to teams behind us (Royals and Rays). Not feeling real great about where we're headed (on terms of the playoffs this year).

The Rays have good pitching. Better pitching than LA or Baltimore, in my opinion.

The rays are 26-30 since July 1. The AL is a mess, 11 of 15 teams are "still alive". This is a series we need to win. maybe we will.

Hey, all I'm saying is that a team with legitimate playoff aspirations needs to beat the less talented teams, especially with their best starters throwing. If we lose tonight, since august 21, the twins will have gone 8-7 against not one team above .500...it's crunch time now, have to be better!

 Wow. I hadn't noticed that. I couple weeks ago it was a 22 game lead. Hey... I live in LA. I pay attention, too, but hadn't realized how many games they dropped.

Yeah, and it only took a 10 game win streak by Arizona to trim the lead to a thin 13.5 games lol
