Unless it's breakfast, McD's is so inedible to me anymore.  If I have to go fast, I'd prefer a sandwich shop or a chicken place like a chic-fil-a or zaxby's (two southern staples).

Personally, though they still need to make the one big trade or FA signing, is like to see Big Sexy back next season. Depth is better than just counting on prospects. Isn't it? I don't know...I'm just a fan.

Colon had a terrible strand rate with the Braves, now with the Twins, his strand rate [while not looking at the stats] seems to be fantastic. I have to give Falvey and co. credit, they made a shrewd signing. I'm still not convinced Colon is all that good (too many hits and HRs) but they gotta keep going with him through the end of the season.

Does anyone else watch the opposing teams streams on reddit?   Its fascinating listening to outside views.    They just said "boy does buxton look good"     

 

The blue jays guys are very fair.   + and - for both teams.

 

 

edit: They really like Joe Mauer.    Apparently there are 16 active players with a BA over .300.   Joe is 7th.

As much as i think we can bet on Gonsalves Slegers and or others to give us 20+ quality starts we also don't know when Colon or Santana will fall apart, or worse yet if Berrios will suffer a major injury.  Still got May coming back and can play wheel a waiver wire starter until we win again but a free agent you can count on would go a long ways.

It helps for the Twins to actually score some runs when Colon pitches. I still don't like him. I guess I will always hold it against him that the Cy Young award Santana deserved went to Colon, and that wasn't even his fault. I guess I just like to watch athletic athletes, and not guys that don't take care of themselves. Plus, he throws like a girl ....

Why I still wonder about depth with Colon and not feeling urgency to play a prospect...though I like a lot of the kids and can't wait to see them.

Really? Not saying it's wrong, but with a 4 run lead should you pull Colon with 2 outs. He's looked pretty good.
