sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 I much prefer 9-0 leads after 1.Patience... All good things come to those who weight. Or that might be gravity...
GCTF Verified Member Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 Strikes out the side. Now I don't know what to think.

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 (edited) Pitches 7 and 8 from Melville to Abreau were called balls, but both strikes. Pitch 7 the perfect corner of zone, and pitch 8 in the low part but even more in the zone. At least Melville didn't get totally screwed and struck him out anyway. Hard for the ump to get a swinging strike wrong, too. Edited August 21, 2017 by h2oface

Just got homeI am not watching, so i might as well stop making fun of his name... I do like thr fact the automated stuff seems to have trouble identifying his pitches. But "good against remotes is one thing. Good against the living? That's something else." (and i'll feel bad if i missed that quote) Edited August 21, 2017 by sampleSizeOfOne Craig Arko 1

(and i'll bad if i missed that quote)To me, looks like his curve and change are both flying at about the same speed (83 mph or so), and the similarities don't end there...they both tend to hit the ground somewhat before the plate. He's thrown a couple beauties, though. I like his stuff all in all. ThejacKmp 1

Darius Verified Member Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 Man, who could've ever seen this coming? They're basically punting games with these independent league pitchers. Really irritating when you've been waiting a freaking decade for competent baseball. h2oface and Mill1634 2
