Puckett34 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 Can't agree. First, the 3rd base coach sent him. Second, Grossman executed that slide as well as he possibly could. Agreed on the send call. Grossie should've been planted at 3rd. My comment was more on the nearly immediate nature of a good thing happening after a bad thing.
snepp Verified Member Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 Grossman was safe! Grossman was safe! You can say that again. Riverbrian 1
DiscGolfer Verified Member Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 How many more innings we giving Bart? I give him 5.2That would tie his longest outing since may 9th
jimmer Verified Member Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 (edited) The Rockies confiscated your backpack and redistributed it to other fans? What kind of great gifts did you presciently pack it with?Rockies are my NL team, so I was dressed properly and rooting accordingly :-) Inside the Rockies backpack they gave me, there was an Arenado Jersey, a Rockies hat with a blond wig sewn in (in honor of Jon Gray), a poster, two Colorado lottery tickets, a koozie and an Ian Desmond Rockies t-shirt. Considering, Castro was on 2nd, Granite would have been intentionally walked so they could face Colon.

snepp Verified Member Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 I wonder how many beers Colon had during that long half-inning. Half as many as I did. Which is probably twice as many as he should have had. Riverbrian 1

Puckett34 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 Doesn't the translator have to put a glove over his mouth like others. Knew what camera angle would be used. No way to lip read that. It's a sneaky play by the translator. Riverbrian 1

It would have been funny if Ryu would have put his glove over the translators face while Ryu communicated free and clear. I really wish that would have happened. Puckett34 1
