Man, as a ND boy, I've spent many a long hour navigating those wind-swept plains highways and byways in a few of those states. Right now, I'm journeying from one end of the HK subway to the other, and thanks to those comments above, in a pleasant reverie. On the mobile site, sometimes the likey button appears, sometimes it doesn't. Today is a not day, but all those tales of navigating those ribbons of highway-- they're well-liked indeed.

Maybe it's just me, but the Twins TV network actively promoting Wisconsin Dells in pregame (and usually some during the game) pieces bugs me. Why not partner with tourist spots in Minnesota? North Shore? Mississippi River Wineries? Walnut Grove and the Laura Ingalls pagaent? I'm sure there is no shortage. I'm sure they would welcome the exposure. Explore MINNESOTA!

Wisconsin Dells is trying to pull the Minnesotans in.

Explore Minnesota is trying to pull Iowans in.

In your opinion, does minnesota have a 'panhandle'? I submit that it does, right at the tippy top there.

It does but your hand will get wet when you grab it.

Or bring back Wally the Beerman, as I date the 'sucking' at home to that mess up!

I thought I read he passed? Perhaps I'm mistaken?

Fun fact: There was some talk of the Northwest Angle (that's what that section of land at the "top" of Minnesota is called) seceeding from the United States 20 years ago and joining Canada - which would make sense geographically. The leaders of the Red Lake Indian nation (who own most of the land) did not support the idea and thus it went nowhere. So, the 120 or so residents are forced to drive through Canada to reach the rest of the state.

I love it up there.

The Islands are beautiful.

One of the great Minnesota Spots... Right after Target Field.

Until today I have always used a flip phone. But one of my clients insists on texting, which is tough on a flip phone. So i got a smart phone that arrived this afternoon.

The first thing that i did on the smart phone was to ask for the Twins score.  It told me that the Twins were winning 3-0 in the second inning. I figured that it must be broken.
