Blake Verified Member Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Baltimore play-by-play guy; "Now, Minnesota is the one team that Tillman has never beat. I kid you not"Obviously, Tillman didn't pitch against the Twins last year. (no idea if he did or not, seems reasonable, however)
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Obviously, Tillman didn't pitch against the Twins last year. (no idea if he did or not, seems reasonable, however) I believe he actually started the season opener last year--the rain delay must have prevented him from going at least 5.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 okay, bases loaded, 1 out. This has been a CBU stand-in update.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Many years ago Microsoft Word introduced an Autocorrect feature that could turn commonly misspelled words into their corrected form, like 'teh' into 'the.' I discovered that the feature was customizable - you could make your own list of word/corrected word in the program. Feeling like Calvin one day, I got into my brother's business computer. In Word's Autocorrect customizer I entered his name, then on the other side I put "@$$hole." <--Hey, TD's got Autocorrect, too! It was actually a couple days later when I got the call from my brother about that little change... I also did a screen captured of his Windows desktop, hid his icons in a folder, then made the capture image into his Windows wallpaper. Oh, my poor old knee was sore from slapping on that day, I tell ya!
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 The Baltimore analyst said he thinks Dozier could easily steal home right now, since Machado is almost 60 feet away from the bag. Begging the question--why isn't Dozier doing that?
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 moot point now--nice work Kennys.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 I'll never understand why when your defense is in a shift on a lefty that you work the outside portion of the plate. Great piece of hitting by Vargas.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 2 runs scored, Vargas to second on the throw, after hitting a single. Kepler to third. This is a CBU stand-in update.
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Vargas!! Hey Chief! How ya doin' today?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Let's put up a really crooked number here.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Tillman looks like Gibson out there.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Let's put up a really crooked number here. And Kepler crosses the plate! Edwardo comes through!
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 2 runs scored, Vargas to second on the throw, after hitting a single. Kepler to third. This is a CBU stand-in update. You're doing great--please remain standing

Begging the question--why isn't Dozier doing that?Exactly. Always lead off the same distance (or a little more, if you're fast) than the fielder is from the bag.
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Rosario has gotten 5 balls, but the count is 3-2.
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 In watching Gameday pitch tracks, I don't know that Tillman has thrown a single pitch that would be a called strike yet.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Seriously, Rosario walks. Tillman managed to walk Rosario. Wow. Bases full of Twins again. CBU stand-in update.
rghrbek Verified Member Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Rosario walked? .290 ob% just went up!
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 It took Tillman 8 batters before he got a first pitch strike.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Nice start. Would be nice to get a knockout punch from Gimenez or Buxton.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Rosario has gotten 5 balls, but the count is 3-2. Musta' been tough to swing. Painful.
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 In watching Gameday pitch tracks, I don't know that Tillman has thrown a single pitch that would be a called strike yet. Ump had a very generous zone in that Gimenez at-bat.
