Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 Is there a problem with that?None whatsoever, just inquisitive.
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 Molitor's call for more bunting looking good so far.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 That's what we need to be doing a night after scoring 14 runs on 21 hits, small ball ourselves out of an inning
70charger Verified Member Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 You think about dudes while in the shower? Apparently only the young and athletic ones. Hmmmm....
Jerr Verified Member Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 Buxton's batting average is disappearing......
gocgo Verified Member Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 Bundy appears to have added some 'beer weight' since the last time I saw him.Possibly following the Al Bundy routine of coming home, sitting on the couch in front of the TV with a beer. Keep a close eye on him between innings. If he puts his hand down his pants, he's Al Bundy.
Guest Guests Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 Seriously, is there any need to play small ball with Buxton on first, no outs and the top of the order coming up? He can score on many singles. The pitcher has already walked two hitters, so he just may walk Buxton to second. But no, Molitor decides to gamble two outs, even though card counters now know they're bad odds, and loses both gambles. #stophittingyourself

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 Buxton's batting average is disappearing...... Is that what happens after taking a walk?!

Made less than zero sense
Jerr Verified Member Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 Is that what happens after taking a walk?! I meant his average w/o factoring in that walk. And to answer your question, no.

Interesting note: the broadcast team just mentioned that in bp the ball was jumping out of the park, particularly to left. So of course pull-hitting Dozier should not try to take advantage of that.
rghrbek Verified Member Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 Not sure why we don't steal first, not after the failed bunt attempt. I know doziers risp stinks but c'mon. Of course buck was caught stealing...
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 Alternative theory--managers need to justify their multi-million dollar salaries somehow, so they insert themselves into the game for no particular reason.
70charger Verified Member Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 So the umpire claims that framing has no effect on umpires. Gotcha.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 Now there was a sneaky sneaky bunttoo sneaky. Cost Jones a strike. We'll take it.

Linus Verified Member Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 I'm getting less impressed with Castro every game.
