Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Esco walks ... bases loaded ... 1 out ... JR Murphy up ...
snap4birds Verified Member Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Wait, wasn't Rosenthal their closer before?Yep. The Cards have promised him the opportunity to win a starting spot, though. Last year, he worked as a starter in ST, briefly. This year, it's more of a real opportunity, but the stories I've seen expect him to be more of a RH Andrew Miller. Seung Kwan Oh took over the closing role when Rosenthal struggled last year (he also had an injury of some sort that he is supposed to be recovered from).
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Game still tied in the 8th; the subs for both teams are making their way in.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Tonkin pitched the 6th and the 7th ... no hits, no walks, 3 SO.
whosafraidofluigirussolo Verified Member Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Do you think O'Rourke vomits before each appearance because he's always getting sent in to face a bunch of right-handed hitters?
Taildragger8791 Verified Member Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 I sure wish we could face these Cardinals' spring training lineups all year. We'd have 5 Cy Young contenders by the year's end.

diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Nice outing by Gibson... He wasn't that good last spring, so let's hope that he's looking more like the 2015 second half version than the 2016 version.

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Twins lose in the bottom of the 9th, 2-1. Losing pitcher is Ricinski.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 I thought their starting lineup today was mostly starters? No? The first 5 players in their lineup for sure. The last 4, can't say I've heard of them before. So your statement is valid!
Taildragger8791 Verified Member Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 I thought their starting lineup today was mostly starters? No? Moreso than yesterday but still looks like some young'ns in there. Come to think of it, I'm not sure who the Cardinals' starters even are anymore. Neither lineup really looks to be a murder's row.

Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Anyone here interested in the inner workings of Mac computers? Unfortunately, since I'm trying to get some Mac's to behave, I'm having trouble thinking beyond ssh, scp and Linux. How any of that ties into baseball is anyone's guess. And it certainly bodes ill for a baseball thread. Baseball threads should be newly mowed grass, hot dogs, beverages, alcoholic or otherwise, with the occasional wisecrack thrown in. Maybe a musical interlude will liven things up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpMvS1Q1sos Pitching for the Twins: GibsonPitching for St. Louis: RosenthalPlay ball!!What do you need to know? PM me if you want.
Blake Verified Member Posted March 16, 2017 Author Posted March 16, 2017 What do you need to know? PM me if you want.I want to know why Mac went from using plist xml files to using a sqlite database for preferences..without bothering to, you know mention it. I'm integrating Mac's into an AD environment. I'm not enthralled with some of the third party tools and I'm also frustrated by the lack of documentation for some of the stuff. But, I've got some cool bash scripts I've put together that automates a lot of what I need to do and ARD does a decent job, once it's configured.
