I am surprised that Joe West is umpiring.  Just curious about what the selection process.

One of the worst home plate umps in 2014.  Sorry can't find similar data for this year.

I'm not sure I disagree with the move myself, though it's starting to look bad.

I simply don't see the wisdom in pulling a guy who is striking out damned near every other batter in the World Series. Save Miller for the second base runner, if he comes.

Where is West?  BTW, He's the President of the Umpires.  He's horrible, but that could be a reason why he gets so much playoff time.

That was some ballsy pitching right there. Going with the breaking ball on 3-1 and clipping the bottom of the zone takes balls the size of watermelons.

I was thinking the same thing. Miller stares death in the face, throws bases loaded 3-1 slider for strike, throws 3-2 slider down and in, gets check swing strikeout.

..that said, they do have a point. The Cubs rotation is deeper with all the Cleveland injuries.

Another reason to pull for Cleveland is maybe they will reconsider their position on that ghastly logo and rebrand completely to the block C which I think looks good all my opinion of course
