I like how Sano is trying to calm Berrios.

It's really great to see.  Berrios doesn't have confidence in pitching from the stretch.  They need to work with him to slow things down.  For now, running Sano and the catcher out there is working.

Just saw replay of Bux's inside the park homer. Man he can fly and no play at plate. Buxton was nearly in dugout when ball arrived at home plate. Love it and like the line up. Just wish Berrios could figure out how to throw strikes.

Dick with a roundup of big name retirements and likely free agent departures around the league after today, and Mark Teixeira is among the retirees. Didn't like him even before he sawed Nishioka in half, after which Nishi was never able to regain his former level of replacement level utility infielder.

 

It's the face, I think. He just has that brochacho look that says he's everybody's kinda sorta friend until you accidentally knock his beer out of his hand at a party and you see his Bill Bromanowski face.
