Yup it's great. I finished it a week or two ago. I still catch myself thinking about some of the episodes, a couple of them really, really stick with you.

Did anyone else feel guilty after the first episode? The schoolboy in me thought the premise of the pilot was really funny right up until the conclusion at which point I felt as ashamed as all the random characters in the episode. It set up the series perfectly as I had no clue what to expect going in but knew exactly what I should expect after.

The episode that was probably the biggest gut-punch to me was Shut Up and Dance in Season three.

The first episode of the series was a complete mind bleep.... Didn't realize this was a show that reset after each episode like the Twilight Zone. That one still sticks out to me as a crazy, but completely believable concept that could happen.

Well, guys...it's here. The Gilmore girls reunion is available on netflix. If you need me this weekend, I'll be getting drunk and playing guitar in the guest room.

So we watched the Shut Up and Dance episode this weekend. Good god that is a mind bleep.... That takes the cake as the best episode in the series.

A couple thoughts:

Sherlock was boring, almost bad. If that's what is happening this year, count me not sad it is ending soon. No one cared about Mary the superspy. We don't want giant earth shattering cases. We want Sherlock Holmes and Watson solving mysteries.

Westworld was awesome. I found myself both predicting things and being surprised at things. I didn't like Maeve returning at the end, frankly. Also, they needed to give us more info on what the top secret agenda of the corporation was. Started to feel like Lost or the lame parts of X Files after awhile.....Finally, I wasn't surprised we say a glimpse of "Asia world", but I would have liked to have seen Dungeon world....

It felt like a Sherlock Christmas special last night.... Couldn't agree more with you Mike about Mary. I forgot she even existed as it's been a couple of seasons since she was involved with the show. Is this a 4 episode or 6 episode series? Either way, they need to get back to solving mysteries, and set up a final Sherlock vs. Moriarty show down..

Traditionally a season of Sherlock is three ninety minute episodes. Given the time commitments of the people involved, I doubt that will change,

Is this based on a book? The trailers I've seen ... looks a little creepy.

I don't think so, I think it is based during the time when the East India Company was basically ruling an entire region of the world as a company.

It was hard to gauge what the show was going to be about from the previews, but I did watch Taboo. The first episode was all set-up, so it might still be hard to tell what the show will be like going forward, but I'll keep watching.

It looks like the main story is going to be Hardy's character's machinations to play the East India Co against the Americans via his newly acquired ownership of Vancouver island.

So basically the last plot I would have predicted from the ominous previews. But interesting. Typically in shows like this, now is about the time I do some research to find out what's fact and what's fiction. I think I'll keep myself in the dark on this one for the time being, I mean aside from knowing which country currently owns Vancouver island.

Sherlock last night certainly seemed like a finale. If so, it was OK as far as finales go but that's not saying much since most are a let down. This one seemed less like a Sherlock episode and more like a Saw movie. It was OK I guess but not great and I'd bet if I re-watched it much more closely there would be a ton of plot holes and continuity issues which you don't want to see in a show like Sherlock.

It was a good run, I think the show can end now. I'm guessing the leads are much too busy to even think about doing another series at this point anyway.

Did anyone watch Victoria? Planning on watching that series?

Watching it now, literally. Love it so far.  Had been looking forward to it for quite some time.

Julie watched it. I'll ask her what she thought.

For me, I can't put the image of Clara Oswalt and the Doctor out of my mind. At least not yet.

So the verdict is that the production quality and performances are comparable to The Crown, but the story itself is more complex with many characters to keep track of.

Sounds like it's worth diving in.
