Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 I just wish I could see into the minds of Molitor and Antony and see what they are thinking. It would be so fascinating to work as an assistant or something, just to watch. Hosken Bombo Disco 1

Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 And Dozier laughs as he swings at that pitch. The reason this team competed last year for most of the season was because of a veteran like Hunter. No one left to call out the young guys in public and the old guys in the locker room. Pathetic. Need a veteran presence for next year.I didn't care for the smiling either, but I'll file it as "whatever" big dog 1
Twodogs Verified Member Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 How can a Major League baseball player have no idea how to bunt?? Rosario looked pathetic. That is something that needs to be fixed for next year with all of the players Aggies7 1

ashbury Verified Member Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 No need to trade either Dozier or Polanco this coming off-season, to free up that 2B logjam, right?
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 Here comes the Rosario blame... Not sure I agree with the pitching change.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 Here comes the Rosario blame... Not sure I agree with the pitching change.I don't know that is "blame" as much as its utter indignation that everyone on this board could have put together a better bunt effort than he did there

Also, slider.

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 I have a new idea for a game thread. I play Oregon Trail with a bunch of Twins Daily members on the wagon. We get to see who survives and who succumbs to dysentery. Does that sound like a good idea?I love that idea! Quick PM Chief the dates you want to take.

Jham Verified Member Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 Not to nit pick, but Sano hits the ball with too much top spin. Likely costs him 5 to 10 HR/season... Of course his upper cut swing probably lifts a few out that normally wouldn't have gone which maybe gains him 3 to 12 HR/season.... meaning his swing either costs him or benefits him to the tune of negative 3 to 13 HR/season +/- 7.5. Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 Unbelievably great play by Polanco, and only because the batter was Rajai Davis, the below average arm was the deciding factor. big dog 1
