I know that people like him because he throws hard, but he kind of reminds me of LaTroy Hawkins.  Threw hard but straight as an arrow and when they square it up, it goes a long way.  It took him about 7 years to figure out that he wasn't going to blow it by anyone.

Matt Capps was that way too.  Unless you throw 103, that fastball best have some movement.

I agree with that. He's still at 10.2 K/9 before the game though. I'm not sure how it's that high.

At some point, don't we need to see Berrios put up a quality start???  We can continue to compare his high ERA, Whip, BB/9 etc. thru his first couple handful of starts next to whoever else compares that went on to have a productive MLB career..... but he at some point needs to just throw a game, so he knows he can each time he toes the rubber.
