Or consider the King James Bible. It was written in common speech to be widely understood. That grammar is not ours. Language is an organism subject to principles of motion and change, I don't care what the French and their academy say. Still two hours to kill before baseball... Mike Sixel 1

I would assume that "their" language and its consistency across time would reflect that. Edited August 8, 2016 by Pardon My Dinger

Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Still, all are best experienced in the original Klingon. We tried to go the Klingon Christmas the last year it was in MN, but a blizzard cancelled the show. Still one of the biggest disappointments of my life. I think it is only in Chicago now. USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Is Kennys Vargas in the witness protection program?Who??
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 From MLBTR: Braves director of baseball operations Billy Ryan is one of the names under consideration in the Twins’ general manager search, USA Today’s Bob Nightengale reports (Twitter link). Despite being in his mid-thirties, Ryan has an extensive resume in the game, working in the Commissioner’s office as well as in the front offices of the Rangers, Indians and Diamondbacks, including four seasons as Arizona’s assistant GM. As Nightengale notes, Ryan is one of “several young executives” on the Twins’ radar as a replacement for former GM Terry Ryan (no relation).

jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 McHugh and Duffey seem very similar as pitchers. Both have good curve balls, fairly good heaters.
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Duffey has dropped his arm angle.....
Jham Verified Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Duffy featuring a change up today? Or are those curves that aren't biting?
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Duffy featuring a change up today? Or are those curves that aren't biting? His change up has a nice drop to it. If his arm level remains down, his curve will be very flat. Jham 1
