sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Author Posted August 4, 2016 Do i want to know how many first inning runs we've allowed this season? Then why did i ask?
Whammy Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Yeah Cleveland LF tried making a sliding catch, it was in his glove then fell out. Mauer was stuck thinking it was caught. Stinks that it costs Kepler a hit.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 43 pitches for Santiago through 2 innings. We'll see if he can get 6 complete innings today.
hybridbear Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Why has Grossman had so little playing time lately with his 0.400+ OBP?
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 43 pitches for Santiago through 2 innings. We'll see if he can get 6 complete innings today. A month ago I'd have joked that he fits right in, but the starters have been pretty good lately.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Suzuki loses the axe and it flies into the stands. Luckily no one was hurt, and a kid was able to catch the bat!
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Let's see if vintage Mauer can come through.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 And he does! Somewhat... Bases juiced for Kepler!
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Mauer out at 1B?!!??!?!?!??!??!??!?!? Heck of a play defensively though.
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 That's two baserunning mistakes for Mauer on the day.
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Do i want to know how many first inning runs we've allowed this season? Then why did i ask?2016 ERA overall is 4.84. First innings, it's 5.80. But, that's how it goes league-wide, too. (4.23 overall, 4.70 first inning). We're about a half-run more extreme. http://www.baseball-reference.com/leagues/split.cgi?t=p&lg=AL&year=2016
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Come on Mauer... Rally killer.
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Mauer out at 1B?!!??!?!?!??!??!??!?!? Dumbass.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Hoping to have some good news before lunch. Oh well. Lunch time for me!
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Dang, Joe Mauer makes mistakes that dumb once in a blue moon. Is there a double blue moon?
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Mauer bad base running thread in 3...2...1.
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 That's two baserunning mistakes for Mauer on the day. This is why you don't play him in a day game after a night game.
Whammy Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Dang, Joe Mauer makes mistakes that dumb once in a blue moon. Is there a double blue moon? What happened? Did Joe think there were two outs? Could Suzuki have tagged?
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 What happened? Did Joe think there were two outs? Could Suzuki have tagged?Kurt did tag. Mauer got doubled off of 1st before the run scored.
Whammy Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Kepler should be 1-1 with a SF and an RBI.... instead he's 0-2. Not that the first one was necessarily Joe's fault. Maybe just unlucky.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 well ricky certainly could have done this.
hybridbear Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Santana!!Oh wait! Wrong Santana! Wrong team batting!
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 well ricky certainly could have done this. This guy we can non-tender after the season at no cost. Does that help make the 3-run HR a little less painful?
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 This guy made the famous Hector's list? More like infamous.
rghrbek Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 This guy we can non-tender after the season at no cost. Does that help make the 3-run HR a little less painful? You honestly think the twins would do this? They would take him north out of spring training next year, and start him for two months, before making that sort of move.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Author Posted August 4, 2016 4-0 after 3. (cbu) No worries. It is still a game. Just like telling a joke, you wait for the punch line.
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 This guy made the famous Hector's list?More like infamous.Coming in just ahead of Typhoid Hector, and Hector Hitler.
mickeymental Verified Member Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 This guy made the famous Hector's list?More like infamous.what the hector!
