True story:  I was in the left field stands for Gagne's HR in game 1...and I was absolutely certain it was coming right to me.  It ran out of gas and dropped like a rock a couple rows in front of me, right on line.

And the other options would be what?  No way Joe walks away from the 2 remaining years, $46M, on the contract.  I don't see the Pohlad's buying out that contract, either.  Not much left.

Yeah I don't see any way of moving him, per se.

But, Mauer should be a bench player. I'm just not sure that Mollie has the guts to do so.
