Okay... WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE explain to me how Kepler's play wasn't an error? I want to see more bad stats. I want to see how bad things can get.

No.

Obviously an error. Scoring is stooooooopid.

Not sure if sarcasm is directed at Twins' poor play or...

Just a little poetic justice.

Ramirez in now, and plenty more enthusiastic troops ready to do their part next when the bullpen ramp drops down...

I briefly considered blasting up to LA on my motorcycle to see this game. Dodged a bullet.

I skipped them all this year. Just couldn't make myself go and pay to watch this trash.

Ahh, the redoubtable Mr. Young, a man with the fielding poise and grace of a St. Bernard puppy chasing a laser pointer dot.

When I was in Mpls, my buddy and I used to buy scalped standing room tickets, then hang out in the mezzanine behind home plate. Buy a beer, put it on the ledge, do some people watching... Not a bad way to waste an evening. The game itself became kind of secondary. How else could we survive emotionally? You can't take a team like this too seriously. It's just too painful.

Yeah, but the puppy has a chance to outgrow the problem.

Just remember, Twins fans, whatever happens tonight, it can't erase that 20th win that the Twins have already banked by the middle of June.

In fairness to DY, he at least managed to get his glove on the ball. We'll await Mr. Grossman's sheepish explanation for the whiff.

The beer is the biggest help I find.
