spinowner Provisional Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Now Dick is offering his medical opinion on orthopedics and physical therapy. Something to the effect of Sano has big legs.
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Late to the thread. Our pooch is having a rough time coming out of anesthesia. And she's not exactly a teacup dog, either. Do you have to put her under whenever Nolasco pitches? [hope she is feeling better]
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Man, PeeWee's Playhouse was the best show ever!I had the talking doll. My parents took it away from me after his indiscretion

Darius Verified Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Maybe they should try free beers? That would be a draw. Obviously can't do that when the Brewers come to town.Honestly, I can't say for sure if I'd go down there for free beer. Probably not, and i'd go (and have gone) to a lot of undesirable places for free beer. I could get the best 6 pack money can buy, watch it on tv (with the option to turn the channel), and I'd still come out ahead. Most importantly....the option to turn the channel after the top of the first, then maybe flip it back periodically to catch Sano/Mauer/Buxton/Kepler/Park, is priceless.

tobi0040 Verified Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 I'm glad coffee drinking habits are the only thing Nunez picked up from jeter. The guy's been around, is what I'm getting at.Okay I may have lost my credibility with my first joke. That was just a joke. This one is a real story about Jeter. A friend of mine knows an attractive girl who lives in NYC. She is active on the philanthropy scene. She met Jeter at some event and he took her home. In the AM he gave her a nice handbag, inside it was a signed baseball and 40 bucks for a cab. A year later she runs into him at the same event. She starts talking to him and realizes he does not remember her. He takes her home again. In the AM he gives her the same handbag, a signed ball and 40 for a cab.
gocgo Verified Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Have the Twins hit double digits yet this year? This could be the night!

Gotta admit that the guy still managed to keep a clean image even with the NY press following his every move.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 pfft. There's no gonna be no SAVE opportunity. Just for the 2016 Twins, the official scoring definition of a save opportunity is any time a reliever enters with any size of lead, regardless of inning.
