The twins have what every team wants. A perfect mix of players. It's just too bad that the mix contains young, unproven and overwhelmed youngsters, and scrub, castoff vets.

Well, this will turn out well. It's too bad that "can't miss" paper prospects eventually have to perform. It's better when we get rated in the top 5 for farm systems every year. It gives hope.

Somewhere in the dusty 1970s operating manual that the Twins use to make baseball decisions, are some rules of thumb, such as: the 9th guy in the order should be your second leadoff hitter, and, slow catchers do not bat 9th. 

 

So, there's really a synergy to Molitor's lineups that you are refusing to recognize.

Oh, and there's popcorn to be had.  Not too long ago, they opened a Garrett's Chicago style popcorn in the mall near the ferry port---  Mmmmmm, cheese/caramel mix.....  ChiTown would appreciate this, too.
