Over-Managing

Hey look, more stupid bunting. Seriously, some one should talk to him.

Or replace him. But you know they won't.

I particularly enjoyed the sac bunt tonight that resulted in Escobar getting an IBB, with Kepler (against a tough lefty) and Suzuki (who apparently can't be PH for, ever, for any F'ing reason under the sun) left to drive in the runs.

He got seriously outmanaged in Baltimore, and he handed the Sox manager a lifeline in this case.

Didn't see the game, but I'm told the White Sox scored without the aid of a bunt.

Can someone confirm this?

Yeah, they got hit with a runner in scoring position and then someone hit one over the fence.  Two things the Twins have really struggled doing this year.

Not using Nunez for either Kepler or Suzuki (especially the later) was unforgivable. My opinion of Molitor is going downhill fast.

I would have used both Park and Nunez. We signed a RH DH, and eight games into the season he's not only not in the lineup against a lefty, he doesn't even PH in a huge spot?

I'm assuming you are talking about using them both in the 6th inning? Using Park and Nunez would have forced Arcia into RF, Murphy into catch.  Which fully empties the bench for the last 3 innings of the game.

I'm searching for the downside.

Nunez is fully capable of playing RF. No need for two bench moves there.
