Byung Park... Forbes's take

worth reading. I'm a bit too intoxicated to comment.  But probably worth bringing to attention.  The gist is that Park won't fix what's wrong with the Twins.  Thoughts?

lol Forbes. Yes, one player won't fix the Twins (or most teams). I'm still on the fence with the move (though I agree there is very little downside) but if he can mash, he goes a long way in helping fix the Twins.

Wow a Forbes article about the Twins and I don't think the name Pohlad was dropped once.

 

The article mostly seemed to be about batting average and HR, so it's hard to see this as an in depth piece. I do agree too though that the Twins need to get much better at getting on base. Maybe super prospect Daniel Ortiz will help with that?

This explains the lack of a copy editor to catch "he is not the universal cure for what ills[sic] the team".

 

How many individual signings *are* a universal cure, anyway?

 

Terrible article from just about any angle. I feel I now know less about my team than when I started to read it.
