Blake Verified Member Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 I wish fans would do a little research and not do "circle me Bert" signs when he's not doing the game. How about a "circle me Roy" sign"Circle me Roy" seems wrong on a lot of levels. USAFChief and Riverbrian 2
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2015 Author Posted September 8, 2015 Well rain is on the way. KC will score a run in the bottom and the game will be called. I'm more worried about a long delay forcing the game to be decided by bullpen.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2015 Author Posted September 8, 2015 For all the love the Royals get from non-Royal fans, Ventura sure is an @ss. Over really weird stuff to. He went Psycho this year. Getting pissed at a come-backer?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2015 Author Posted September 8, 2015 "Circle me Roy" seems wrong on a lot of levels. Bert must be fading off into retirement. He hasn't been around much anymore. He must be down to 4 trips a year now.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Torii gets to first base. Not a bad start to the inning...
Blake Verified Member Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 I'm more worried about a long delay forcing the game to be decided by bullpen. I think Twins pitchers should expect and maybe even demand to throw 120 to 140 pitches a game. Unless it is Mr. Pelfrey. 60 and done seems to be his MO the last few starts. That way, the bullpen feels needed. Riverbrian 1

Winston Smith Verified Member Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 I'm more worried about a long delay forcing the game to be decided by bullpen. I'd be more worried about the horses and wagons getting stuck in the mud. I think Baby Jesus and the dinosaur will be ok. Riverbrian 1

ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 What is the lowest batting average that ever led a Twin season? Full season: .279, Todd Walker, 1999. Strike season (1/2 year), .268, John Castino, 1981. So ... this looks to be a "record-setting" year for the Twins in this regard.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2015 Author Posted September 8, 2015 Ok, now rain cats and dogs! Bark... Can you do this?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Ok, now rain cats and dogs! No, not yet! Need to make it through the inning.
