David HK Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 I am ready to see Hicks lead off and Dozier bat second. Escobar makes a good 9 hitter. That should give RBI chances to Dozier when he comes around again.BD is the only guy in the lineup with pop on a more consistent basis than anyone else. He needs to be in the 3 hole, for a long time now. Cripe, he's nearly our #1 RBI guy, from the leadoff spot. What could he have done all year, lower in the order? And I like that notion that was made earlier of him batting behind Sano eventually- give that young man protection like that? Whew.... AL pitchers be a-wettin' their pants.

AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Tito was much maligned by his father. The guy was actually a pretty decent guitar player but his father never let him play on any of the Jackson 5 records. They brought in studio musicians. And his father didn't let him sing much either. So he just kinda wore matching suits with the rest and tried to look like he was doing something.Always surprised what I might find in the game thread. Tonight, an impassioned defense of the under appreciated Tito Jackson! glunn, Riverbrian and David HK 3
ShouldaCouldaWoulda Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Nice, like how they addressed both the question of when will May be transitioned back, and will Pelfreys role be addressed. It is not just us. Hosken Bombo Disco 1
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 What'd i miss? Oh, good. 9th inning, tie game. Couldn't have missed very much... (but will read the game thread shortly to find out)
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 So, May can literally only come in the eighth?Just pretend the score is 1-1
spinowner Provisional Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Vulture May in to claim another relief win.A call! David HK and glunn 2
amjgt Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Trevor "vulture" May strikes again! Hosken Bombo Disco and glunn 2
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Torii Hunter? Who'da thunk? (Page 2) glunn 1
glunn Community Moderator Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Torii comes through. Now it's up to Perkins and the defense.
ShouldaCouldaWoulda Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 That a boy Torii......(Just earned being brought back next year)
glunn Community Moderator Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Why doesn't Cleveland spend the money to put decent padding on the outfield wall? Gibby 1
formerly33 Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Would it be too much to ask for May to get the save as well as the win? Hosken Bombo Disco and glunn 2
ShouldaCouldaWoulda Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 That was clutch of Torii though. His leadership style probably only works when he's hitting. The team winning kinda coincided with the stretch he was hitting.
David HK Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 How many Cody's do they have out there? Seems like more than the quota. ShouldaCouldaWoulda and glunn 2
David HK Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Come on, now Hicksie. Get some In-surance.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 I'd actually bat him lower. He is a good base runner and high percentage base stealer. He could and should be able use his legs more hitting fifth or sixth.
glunn Community Moderator Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 It would be very nice to score the runner on third to give Perk more breathing room. stringer bell 1
ShouldaCouldaWoulda Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 How many Cody's do they have out there? Seems like more than the quota. As many as the amount of Trevor's we have out there;) glunn, Riverbrian, stringer bell and 1 other 4
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 That a boy Torii......(Just earned being brought back next year)whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa Riverbrian, stringer bell, ShouldaCouldaWoulda and 2 others 5
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Zuke has hit a lot of weak fly balls this year.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Author Posted August 8, 2015 Zuke has hit a lot of weak fly balls this year. Yeah... A bunch every week it seams.
David HK Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Ahhhh.... stats people. Is it just me, or are the Twinkies just more futile with runner on 3rd, less than 2 out?
ShouldaCouldaWoulda Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoaheeeeheeeeeeheeeee. I kid, I kid....but, wouldn't be surprised.
David HK Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 As many as the amount of Trevor's we have out there;)I think a trade is in order.
ShouldaCouldaWoulda Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 I think a trade is in order.Yikes, I think our Trevor's>their Cody's. David HK and Hosken Bombo Disco 2
