More bunts like that.

Less bunts that result in an automatic out.

I don't care whether it worked or not, that was a savvy play. Fresh off a homer with two outs, that's the last thing the opposing team is expecting and it required a fantastic defensive play to get the out.

That's the kind of baseball I expected when Molitor was hired, not that asinine "move the runner over" crap we've seen.

Hitting the ball over the fence scores runs pretty easily.  The Twins should try doing that more often.

There's the Aaron Hicks we know and don't love.

The coach in me isn't happy with the CF... SS or 2B on that Pujols Pop. I'd let my 13 year olds know it.

And the Twins can score without immediately giving up runs in the next 1/2 inning.

Who knew?

CBU:  3-0 Twins after 4.

Yeah, that was a failure on everyone's part.

Personally, I can do without 2 out bunt attempts, YMMV.

Normally I'd agree but the timing of that bunt was perfect and the execution very good. It was a high OBP attempt.

Unfortunately, Featherston made a perfect play.

If a perfect play is needed to get the out, in my eyes you made the right call.

My thought would be I would rather the hitter swing away in hopes of an extra base hit.

The most likely outcome of a single is, two more hits are needed to score a run, particularly with the bottom of the lineup due up.

My thinking is that if the runner is fast enough to beat out that bunt, they're fast enough to move to second.

And by forcing a play like that, you force the defense to make the play. Forcing a play often causes mistakes.

I think it's a good use of team speed without much risk. You're putting the defense on edge immediately after a play where you took the lead.

I love me a good bunt for hit on occasion. Use all the clubs in your bag.

Santana looks awesome out there. I'd let him go 8 at the very least. If its still a 3 run game I think you gotta let Perkins get back on that horse.

I see.  Intentionally walk Hicks.  That's not something that I thought would happen... pretty much ever.
