Strange. I have complete confidence that Gibby (the pitcher) is going to continue to throw BBs and shut down their guys. And I'm getting that same confidence in the whole staff day by day. So different than the past four years. As Gibby (the moderator) put it above, with his over-the-top exhuberance: "This is fun."

I'm developing a nitpicky pet peeve. Baseball people, of all people, should be better at pronouncing hispanic names. In Spanish, s is pronounced s. Z is pronounced z. S is not pronounced z. Rosario is pronounced Rosario, not Rozario.

I have another complaint:

Then I'm looking for one big time power bat. Jay Bruce would be the one I'd target.

I was very confident this was a playoff team going into spring training, a little less as spring training sent along and was just hoping for .500 after Santana's suspension. This is a solid roster the last 4 years made us realist, but this team was worthy of expectations to at worst stay in the wild card race through July.
