I didn't even realize the Twins were no longer a wild card team anymore. I just assumed they were since everyone gets a trophy.

I'm wondering why it feels with the opposing team having bases loaded-nobody out, the over/under feels like about 5 runs.  While with our offense, it feels like 1.  Maybe I'm just a pessimist pretty much all the time.

I'm glad Plouffe doubled there because I was about to say... I think Plouffe should have at least left his feet on the RBI Barnhart grounder.

 

Probably wouldn't have got it but with a runner on third you gotta at least try.

 

I couldn't tell if Pelfrey was staring in Plouffes direction or just staring in a random direction afterwards.

 

Bottom line... I really want an Arenado or Lawrie at the hot corner. Plouffe has been better... More engaged the past couple of years but that effort reminded me of when I was pretty disappointed in him before that.

A legitimate ace, one of the top closers in baseball, two guys having big seasons in the middle of the lineup.
