USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 And we're off and running. We get a soft liner for a DP, they get a soft ground ball and soft liner for hits.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 3 outs per inning, Herm-zee.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Easy. "Kendrick may have the best raw power in a Draft that's short on promising sluggers. He packs a lot of strength in his 6-foot-3, 235-pound frame and can put on a show in batting practice that would do a big leaguer proud. Nevertheless, there's a split camp on how well his power will play in pro ball. Scouts who like him think his top-of-the-scale raw pop could translate into 30 homers annually in the Majors. Others think he has a grooved swing and lacks bat speed and believe he'll have trouble making contact against better competition. Kendrick's power will have to carry him because he doesn't have another average tool. He's a well below-average runner with fringy arm strength. Though he has played both infield corners for Oak Forest Academy, the Southeastern Louisiana recruit will be limited to first base at the next level." http://powershowcase.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/LA-Kolton-Kendrick-Watching-8TH-PROFILE.jpgThat's not you??
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Dear Chris Herrmann, You need a quicker release... Running toward the dugout on the first base side is way too long of a setup before throwing and you'll have to throw across your body to get it to third. Unless you thought it was third out... In that case... You are the catcher... The QB of the defense... And that means you can't make that mistake.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Milone is there with a fine brush for the detailed painting of the corners. And, which is more, the ump is right there with him. (That's a happy little tree. Some might think it's lumber, but it's planted upright on the batter's shoulder.)

stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 3 outs per inning, Herm-zee.I thought Kozma would bloop one in and make it 3-0. Would serve the Twins right for Herrmann forgetting how many outs there were.
NorthwestTwinsFan Provisional Member Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Great at-bat by Nunez, followed by a terrible one by Vargas.

I think it was a clever plot to bate the runner into coming home when he saw it was uncovered. It almost worked too. If it had, i guess it would have been 2-0. But only 1-0. CBD. Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Starting to feel like watching the most recent versions of the twins...get behind early, fail to come through in the scant scoring chances they have, and mental errors (how does the catcher not know how many outs there are?) not much fun viewing these days

Especially with runners on.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Until The Flash runs down a fly ball.Certainly fun to see that...but I've been waiting for an offensive explosion going on two+ weeks now
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 For years now, and prolly for all my remaining days, I cannot say, see, or hear the word "Utah" without the phrase "We're the flyin' Elvis's, Yew-tahh Chapter" running through my head.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Midvale Utah? Most other states already have their vales completed. If there is a poll for most suburban metro area, Salt Lake City has my vote. Midvale is just one of a sequence of indistinguishable jurisdictions south of the center of the city. Maybe your explanation is why.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Milone doesn't have enough stuff to be more than a middle-of-the-rotation guy, but he is a major league starter.

amjgt Verified Member Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 NEVER swing at the first pitch after Molina visits the mound. He's gotten like 7 outs on 5 mound visits in the 2.5 games
