jokin Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Moves to be made in the postgame and/or tomorrow? Who, if any are part of it? Fien, Arcia, Vargas, Achter, Santana, Pressly, Duesnsing, Stauffer?

The Twins are now 10 games above .500!! The Twins are in a 5-game winning streak! The Twins swept the BoSox! The Yankees are about to extend KC’s losing streak to 4, making the Twins the top of the AL Central! The outlook’s pretty brilliant for my hometown team today.

formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Okay, shhh, be quiet.......The Royals are batting in the top of the 9th.....Andrew Miller on the mound.....Omar Infante grounded out to short.....Paulo Orlando grounded out to 2nd......1 strike on Alcides Escobar...............
Blake Verified Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Rosario and Hicks for the win!?!? Pelfrey goes toe to toe with Buckholtz? Tied for first with KC? Mass hysteria, cats and dogs sleeping together...
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Yankees beat Royals, 4-2. TWINS tied for 1st. (I didn't think I'd ever get to type that this season.)
formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Oh wait!!! He lined out!!!!! BALLGAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Take a good look at our license plate, KC!!!!
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 winnah. ho-hum. After watching them today, something different is going on. This is a game that they have always found a way to lose over the past four years. They dominated the Red Sox, dominated the heart of the order, and the defense has a pre-2011 feel-> suddenly we "know" that plays will be made out there. It's like luck is meeting destiny- to this point, anyway, something pretty special is happening... what say you Chief?
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Tied with KC. This is un-frikken-believable. Who ARE these guys?
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 my guess is that at least one pitcher is going down, Vargas is back up. If Fien is ready, then two pitchers are going down. Fien passed his final "test" today, going back-to-back games, and striking out two in 1 IP. I gotta think he's an automatic call-up.

formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Looks like MLB is having a slight problem with authority right now.
Kirby_waved_at_me Verified Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Don't they know that in a case of identical records the standings are supposed to go North to South instead of alphabetically?
formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Don't they know that in a case of identical records the standings are supposed to go North to South instead of alphabetically?Lol, that's a way to look at it. I think they should have the team with the longer winning streak and/or the better record in the last ten games at the top.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Quite the collection of Sox the Twins have picked up lately.I'll see myself out...
Doubles Verified Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 I would strongly prefer to keep watching Cheech Rosario than I would Arcia. Was beating that drum well before today's tater.
blairpaul715 Verified Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Don't they know that in a case of identical records the standings are supposed to go North to South instead of alphabetically?Just keep winning, it will be on top eventually Lol, that's a way to look at it. Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Had to work today. Missed the game, but I read through the game thread when I got home. Once the final out was recorded, I don't think I have ever in my 3+ years on this site seen such positivity and jubilation. There must be something to being 10 games over .500. I am happy for everyone! And I am happy For myself!

John Kelsey Verified Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 I think I'm going to call an audible and take a half day to head over to the ballpark today. It's too nice to sit inside and stare at a computer screen. I'd rather sit outside and eat 6 or 7 hot dogs. I only ate 4, but my point still stands.
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Rosario sticks, Arcia to DH, Escobar to SS, Santana down? Yeah, that's the consensus where I hang out...
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Rosario sticks, Arcia to DH, Escobar to SS, Santana down?Ding ding ding!
lakers612 Provisional Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Rosario sticks, Arcia to DH, Escobar to SS, Santana down?I like Santana's versatility in the field. If we bring him down, Escobar is the only utility guy on the roster. Do the Twins really need Nunez if they bring up Arcia?
Marek Houston Wichita Wind Surge - AA SS On Saturday, Houston went 3-for-5 and scored two runs. After a short slump, he is now back over .290 on the season. Explore Marek Houston News >
