Game Thread, Twins vs. Red Sox, 5/27 @ 12:10 pm CT

Glad they are giving Tonkin some high leverage work. He is our best chance internally at this point for a "shut down" 8th inning guy semi long term.

Reed? Burdi? Jones? Chargios?

[twinsnorth49]

Perk got 3 outs left in him, after that grueling outing yesterday?

I'm guessing he's on fumes.

Still discombobulated by being the set up guy and the closer the night before.

Perkins may like to scare us all, but I'd have to agree with his wife.

And now we know who to blame if we aren't.

Haha send all complaints to Vanimal49bestSP@gmail.com or call 1-800-VANIMAL to hear an automated recording on how Vance Worley created the Vanimal nickname on his own.

Just checking in. I like this situation. Up by two with Perkins coming in.

[Hrbowski]

Dale Scott missed that call.

You said that one other day but on that day I noticed that the Twins were indeed wearing unis with pinstripes (at least on TV) so maybe they haven't totally done away with them.

I hear you 100%.  You'd think in 2015 they could simply program in whichever uniform a team is wearing for that given game.  But, i digress, it's a minor detail not important to the task at hand!

Dale Scott missed that call.

I personally thought he was doing a pretty good job behind the plate.

Reed? Burdi? Jones? Chargios?

I meant that is on the major league roster (or could be called up right now)

Twins Win!  Now (never thought I'd say this) Go Yankees!

[Hrbowski]

Aaron Hicks is becoming the man we all wanted him to be.

Twins keep doing the things they need to do to win, every day seems to present a new "hero". Rosario looks more and more legit in both the field and at the plate. Good to see Hicks hit a bomb, hopefully this can jump start his offense a bit.
