Oh, on the A's twitter they said, "Strange rout Canha took on that ball, it is a bit windy here tonight." They should have seen it yesterday late afternoon, that would have been hard to catch a ball if there was a game.

I just noticed they have the Statcast info on Gameday.

Hey Hrbowski, this is meant with the greatest amount of respect, but for some reason your avatar makes me think of the song by Waylan Jennings - Luckenbach, Texas.

The only two things in life that make it worth livin'
Is guitars that tune good and firm feelin' women
I don't need my name in the marquee lights
I got my song and I got you with me tonight
Maybe it's time we got back to the basics of love

Let's go to Luckenbach, Texas
With Waylon and Willie and the boys
This successful life we're livin'
Got us feuding like the Hatfields and McCoys
Between Hank Williams' pain songs and
Newberry's train songs and Blue Eyes Cryin' in the Rain
Out in Luckenbach, Texas ain't nobody feelin' no pain

So baby, let's sell your diamond ring
Buy some boots and faded jeans and go away
This coat and tie is choking me
In your high society you cry all day
We've been so busy keepin' up with the Jones
Four car garage and we're still building on
Maybe it's time we got back to the basics of love

Let's go to Luckenbach, Texas

Anyone else remember Craig Counsel's crazy batting stance?

Heh... I used to copy that stance as a joke in the old men's league.  Course, most of my hitting was chuckle-inducing anyway...

Yes I do

I also believe that the year I tried to copy Rod Carew's stance set me back a year in my baseball development.

Yeah, people think I'm crazy, but I never thought I was, but I guess I'll never know.

I've been to Luckenbach

I was driving the Texas Hill Country with the Family and I saw sign that said... "Luckenbach 3 miles that way or whatever... So... Yeah... We turned and went to Luckenbach.

It is two buildings and that's it. I didn't even see any houses or family dwellings at all. There were Chickens walking around everywhere. A Bunch of outdoor picnic tables with old people sitting at them and a guitar player just singing a song.

We looked around and said... OK... We've seen it and we continued on through the middle of nowhere.

I'd answer that but I need to understand the question first.

Technical skills of any kind... I lack.

Yes I do

I copied Herbie in both batting stance and Chile dog frequency. I'd stand straight up rigid like a giant statue with the bat resting on my shoulder and chile stains on my jersey.

Those kind of places are the best in the world. :)

With my stance and swing I copy Hunter Pence.
