Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 I really think there will be no point for May to go back to Rochester. Maybe ever.
formerly33 Verified Member Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Gotta give it up to Moss on that play. He played that off the wall perfectly and threw a strike to Kipnis. I thought it was a bit low.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Another key inning for May.

Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 I am starting to think Vargas needs to use a wheel chair when he is on the base paths - I think it would increase his speed.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 How hard will it be to Park my Car somewhere... and how much time will it take to leave Al's Italian Beef... Drive to the Fountain... Throw one of my Drunk Cousins into the fountain... Take a Photo and return to the car and drive on toward Indiana.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 What have I missed? Has Circus Boy become a cult leader or something? I suppose Twins Daily could use a David Koresh or Jim Jones of its own.Today is the anniversary of Mr. Korea's demise.

ashbury Verified Member Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 However, I'm far from giggly. Too reserved, like Jane Fairfax. When Game Thread cultural literacy begins to require Jane Austen on a regular basis I'm going to have to bow out as gracefully as I can. Monty Python and Three Stooges references are about all I'm good for. / To save anyone the trouble: "about???"

If you are down here Memorial Day weekend the answer to the question is "it will take 2.5 hours". That's to park your car. Just forget about the rest of the itinerary.

big dog Verified Member Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Way to go, Trevor, way to go! Clap, clap!
70charger Verified Member Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 nice game for May so far. Like it! Six innings on one-run ball. Can't complain about that. Also, we haven't seen much of that from Twins pitchers in the last few years. I honestly hope that May grabs onto a rotation spot and doesn't let go.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Gameday is stuck in the 3rd with Poof at bat. Nice long half hour at bat for him. Halsey's working definition of Hell.

I'm not sure I believe in your claims on near-complete illiteracy. But if you say so...
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 So... If I understand this correctly... Driving to see the Chicago Fountain... Is nothing like Driving to a Supermarket with a parking lot in Eau Claire? The biggest difference is there are not as many cheese curd vendors at the Chicago Fountain.
big dog Verified Member Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 So... If I understand this correctly... Driving to see the Chicago Fountain... Is nothing like Driving to a Supermarket with a parking lot in Eau Claire? It's actually a lot like it, but only if there are 10,000 people standing around in the parking lot and they each drove by themselves. Then you've pretty much got it. But if you are on Lakeshore Drive going past the fountain, you are more less parked already, so you can probably at least toss your cousin in the fountain. The bad news is he will be able to get back in the car before you get through the stoplight.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Aaron Thompson for our 7th inning pitcher sounds like a bad idea.

formerly33 Verified Member Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 And House adds yet another strikeout. I can't find an appropriately sarcastic smiley.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Hmmm, I see people were mentioning ladies whose last name is May.

ashbury Verified Member Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Like May's changeup.I like the movement on virtually every pitch. We aren't used to that on this team.
