Also, Robinson pulled a Robinson for a second and almost charged in too far again on a liner. He didn't have to jump this time though.

When will we get a better center fielder than Shane Robinson? It seems like he is better than Schafer, though.

Vargas's knuckles drag on the ground as he drags his wooden club to the plate. Vargas hit ball 10 miles. Vargas returns to the corner of the dugout where he sits alone in a shadow. Twins team trainer throws chunk of raw steak to corner. Vargas happy.

He is stronger than 2 guys named Kenny so they made his name plural.

Santana had a single, Hunter a ground-rule double, and Mauer got the RBI with a ground out to Shortstop.

 

showing how stupid the RBI stat is......who did more there, Hunter or Mauer, to contribute to the run?

 

would be cool if Mauer got an XBH this year.

Ah well - that error by the Royals didn't come back to haunt them - just one more reason they've been living a charmed existence of late...

Not directly at least.

 

But it's not entirely without effect. A few more pitches thrown, another batter comes up.

 

If Twins win with 2 outs in the bottom of the ninth, strictly speaking, that batter might not have come up without the error.

 

But yeah, far enough away, ya can't blame it directly.

 

We're doin' pretty good so far, ain't we?
