Well, folks, we've reached the end of an era. It is with a heavy heart that I announce the departure of two beloved friends here on Twins Daily: Rally Roger and ChiTownTwinsFan.

Rally Roger was loved by many and hated by one. He led the Twins to a 38-33 record before serial killer ChiTownTwinsFan demanded his destruction. He was cremated and his ashes will be buried at sea, but his legacy lives on forever in the hearts of Twins fans far and near.

The body of ChiTownTwinsFan remains, but her soul was lost last night to the White Sox. I guess it was inevitable, for all who live must also die, but it still came as a huge shock. I thought she would survive Chicago, and in truth she did for fifteen years, but apparently she couldn't handle two Chicagoan teams in a row playing Minnesota, and her true colors came to light last night.

 

A memorial service will be held this afternoon at Game Thread: White Sox @ Twins, 6/24 @ 12:10pm CT. The departed are survived by father/son Bark's Lounge.

If I didn't know you were being tongue in cheek, I'd delete this part of it. The rally roger I liked ... ask Bark ... the Olsen twins, not so much, and I wasn't alone. And what is said in game threads needs to stay in game threads.

You mean a bad joke inadvertently provoking an 'ick' involving the Tom Kelly-ism "Everybody grab an oar" as well each receiving only one of their anticipated footwear.

Always - Chi is right, she liked the Rally Roger. I was the murderer of the Rally Roger - it was growing stale. As for the Olsen Twins, It was only myself and Brian who enjoyed their company. I believe everyone else found them to be disgusting and off putting.
