Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 July 26 vs. Yankees and August 13 vs. Rangers.Good! Now PM Chief quick before someone beats you to it!
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Can I do todays?Today's is spoken for. If you go to the front page of this thread, Chief has been keeping the open dates updated. There are some openings coming up, though … I know it's difficult for you to plan ahead, but … that's the 'calendar' to keep your eye on. And I don't want to speak for Chief, but I think he likes to have people in place at least the day before.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 And I don't want to speak for Chief, but I think he likes to have people in place at least the season before.FTFY. I have it on good authority that Chief is lazy.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 29, 2015 Author Posted July 29, 2015 FTFY. I have it on good authority that Chief is lazy.wouldn't lazy be "last minute?"
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 wouldn't lazy be "last minute?" I'm not going to invest the effort to decide.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 7, 2015 Author Posted September 7, 2015 We have volunteers to finish the season. Many and sincere "thank you's!" to all the folks who helped out with game threads this season. I know I speak for site owners, and moderators, when I say we really appreciate your help. And speaking for myself, I couldn't have asked for more, better, or more reliable folks to step up. Now lets finish this off in style, and give RB a chance at some postseason game threads!
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 I would like to second what Chief wrote and add that there is a lot of talent among the TD community and game thread intros have given many a chance to bring out that talent.

It was fun, I mean, a reverential and solemn occasion.

twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Concur on all the great talent here at TD, the variety with the game threads has been a highlight for me this season on the site. Imo it's helped to foster a better sense of community here. Well done all.....and all still to come.
formerly33 Verified Member Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 When do we start signing up for next season?Didn't you hear? This was just a carefully planned conspiracy to ease someone into Riverbrian's former duties, and as you volunteered more than anyone else, next year you get the full load.

JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 It's been a pleasure and I'm done for the year. Time to just enjoy. Thanks everyone for the stories, fables, jokes, cooking lessons, photos and more. Shout out to Bark's and others for adding visual nonsense.

I'd prefer a straight fight to all this sneaking around." And i'll start working on a general solution to the game thread intro problem: The game thread intro spam bot: you may already be a winner!
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Now that the schedule is out for 2016 we can start planning what games we want.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Strange... A year from today, we'll be playin' the same team, just at their place in the afternoon on a getaway day... I see it now, down the trousers of time... Game thread Twins at Tigers, 9/15/2016 12:08pm CTOr is that be too confusin'?Weather: neither wind, nor sleet, nor snow, nor nuclear winter shall rest these sports professionals from their appointed runs...Twins: Meyer {R}Tigers: Verlander {R}1. Who thought Gardenhire would bring the Tigers back to relevance? No, really, who thought that? It's okay to admit it now...2. From the batter's perspective, isn't it an "upward plane?"3. It's not a wild pitch with no one on base... (or the 3rd strike)4. Meanwhile, back in the bay... or should i say "out in Oakland?" 5. Between ye doubters, and ye proponents of Paul Molitor as Head Coach, i gotta be sidin' myself with the Molly props. (er... just keepin' in shape... never mind me...)
