For years it was my shameful secret that I liked the song, but didn't love it enough to ask anyone the meaning of the word that was about as contextually sensible to me as 'warm smell of Doritos'.

 

With all that the internet potentially offers to inform, one of the first things I searched for after going on line for the first time in the mid-90's was what the bleep was rising up through the air at the Hotel California exit ramp.

 

That search led almost immediately to KissThisGuy. com.  My reference to Midnight at the Oasis is a tip of the cap to both the decision to include 'how did you find out' you misheard a lyric option in the contributions, and the person who confessed that the situation when they misheard 'Midnight after you're wasted'  " was "After midnight.  I was wasted".

I don't think of Colitas as a warm smell, so much as hot and acrid smelling, but it does make me sleepy

At the ballpark for the last time this season, and I've noticed throughout the year that huge amounts of smoke from the Butcher and the Boar station routinely makes its way to the field. I can't help but wonder if Arcia finds it annoying and/or constantly makes him hungry.

i was going to say this after arcia's hit ... but got distracted with the continuing colitas conversation ... but i really like the player that plouffe has been this year.  all the criticism he got last year, and deservedly so, imo ... but maybe what he needed was that 'seasoning' ... i just think he's probably been most improved this year.  (sorry Halsey, but that's what i think)
