USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 This half inning is an explanation of "Minnie and Paul" and plenty of compliments to Target Field. They even knew the story of the flag pole from the old Met
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 I'm still looking for the ultimate choc chip cookie recipe ... something that just sets it apart from all othersBacon? Or maybe just, instead of Crisco or butter, bacon grease. Mmmm
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 Midway is the worst airport to fly out of. It's closest to me, but I can't allow less than 2 hrs to get through security there. I fly a lot and O'Hare, while bigger and lots more traffic, isn't the internal mess that Midway is, not even close. Back in the 1940s, Midway Airport used to let my dad and his friends shoot critters with their .22 rifles around the perimeter of the field so planes wouldn't have to deal with roadkill. He grew up near 61st and Kennard. Such a different world then.
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 If you blow the picture up... Squint your eyes a little. Right below the P in Airport You can see an old lady being mugged at gun point. I think its Marlon or Tito holding the gun. I can't tell. You watched a lot of Good Times growing up didn't you?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 24, 2014 Author Posted September 24, 2014 Your curtains are open!!!And you're still wearing your giraffe print zubaz!
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 But the good thing about Gary, you can get your ur windshield washed at any stoplight! That's just sad.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 Pinto is killing poor Gibby tonight.

Platoon Verified Member Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 That was my family driving through Cloquet. Nothing like the smell of paper. They must have added some additional filtration, because it is not bad now, but the 70's, early 80s it had a distinct fragrance.International Falls..... Smelled so bad, they moved it all the way to the Canadian border
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 You watched a lot of Good Times growing up didn't you?Yep... Dyno-mite

They even knew the story of the flag pole from the old MetI briefly thought of the 1965 Twins tonight too. I was thinking what it felt like to have superstars on your team. Bonafide superstars. And when Carew came up we had three.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 Even tougher love to Chicago, imo. I'm just trying to balance it out.Almost as tough as when Minneapolis and St. Paul people start mixing it up..
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 24, 2014 Author Posted September 24, 2014 I know umpires are only human, but that's just bogus.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 24, 2014 Author Posted September 24, 2014 Almost as tough as when Minneapolis and St. Paul people start mixing it up..I lived in both cities and in my opinion ... Mpls wins it, hands down, although they are both way better than Gary.

(Their contracts must be longer than I thought)

Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 So if Gibson's ERA is under 1.00 in games he wins, will Gardy send him out for the 10th tonight to maintain the sub-1.00 ERA?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 sigh ... I need ice cream ... Brian ... I've got my binoculars, open your freezer so i can see what you have.Did you see? Or did I get up for naught?
