Midway is the worst airport to fly out of.  It's closest to me, but I can't allow less than 2 hrs to get through security there.  I fly a lot and O'Hare, while bigger and lots more traffic, isn't the internal mess that Midway is, not even close.

 

Back in the 1940s, Midway Airport used to let my dad and his friends shoot critters with their .22 rifles around the perimeter of the field so planes wouldn't have to deal with roadkill. He grew up near 61st and Kennard. Such a different world then.

That was my family driving through Cloquet.  Nothing like the smell of paper.  They must have added some additional filtration, because it is not bad now, but the 70's, early 80s it had a distinct fragrance.

International Falls..... Smelled so bad, they moved it all the way to the Canadian border

This half inning is an explanation of "Minnie and Paul" and plenty of compliments to Target Field.  They even knew the story of the flag pole from the old Met

I briefly thought of the 1965 Twins tonight too. I was thinking what it felt like to have superstars on your team. Bonafide superstars. And when Carew came up we had three.

Almost as tough as when Minneapolis and St. Paul people start mixing it up..

I lived in both cities and in my opinion ... Mpls wins it, hands down, although they are both way better than Gary.

Earlier in the game, before I got too engrossed here, Dick and Bert were drooling over what the playoff atmosphere will be like in coming years! (Their contracts must be longer than I thought)

From what I have heard they now allow you to shoot anywhere in Chicago !
