D. Hocking Verified Member Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 85 - it was the later pastel era influenced by pretty in pink and Miami Vice -- so at least there was not the ruffled shirt. Although now that I think about it -- the suit had been my brothers which he wore to prom in 1980, and my mom took in some of the 70's style flair from the pant legs. The girls all had a lot of lace bows and gloves as influenced by early Madonna. I suspect the pictures probably do not look timeless and look a little dated. We were not quite as put together or styled as much as the prom kids today, which is probably not a bad thing.
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 It better have been then, otherwise he would have looked ridiculous in a blue leisure suit!It was actually a fairly decent three piece suit -- just with a color you could only wear to a prom. My first communion suit -- was a leisure suit (a checked leisure suit) my Mom made. Complete with a yellow polyester shirt with a pretty big collar.

big dog Verified Member Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 Ricky's at a tidy 97 pitches through 5. Pretty happy to be tied at 3, given this. Even happier that Hicks stung a ball last inning.
