I am not sure why Gardy's exit should be controversial. Continuing on a march to -90. Has played Nunez at short much more often than Santanna? Insists on needing a certain catcher to "mentor" the upcoming young pitchers, and then catches Pryor either 2 of 3 or 3 of 4 times in Mays first games. I figure 5 pitches per out = a decent chance to the 7th inning. So far (despite the self-inflicted runs) Gibson has thrown 73 pitches in 5 innings.

 

It is also important to have a quick inning after a terrible one

Do you ever have something that gets stuck in your outbox (in this case a plain e-mail, no attachments or photos) and no matter what you do you can't get it to move?

 

I finally went to a different e-mail provider and sent it from that one.

 

Too weird.  Sent e-mails all day -- maybe it was just tired.
