Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 5, 2014 Author Posted September 5, 2014 Wow, I rarely frost brownies (too sweet) but always but in nuts.I never frost them either. But I never put nuts in them. But I've had them frosted with nuts on top of the frosting. Not my preference but it's okay.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 To be honest, if someone gives me a brownie, I won't complain if it has nuts, doesn't have nuts, is frosted, isn't frosted, has ice cream on top, or doesn't have ice cream on top.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 5, 2014 Author Posted September 5, 2014 I also like my brownies on the dense, moist chewy side. If they are too cake-like, just make cake instead.

(And that combo is way over the top for me and I like sweets.)
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 No nuts and no frosting. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/bacon-brownies/

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 I'll put ice cream on anything. Ice Cream on a ham sandwich... I'd try it.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 I did forget the whipped cream and couldn't edit fast enough. This was a college thing .... many many years ago. For like 25 cents. But every once in awhile I recreate it.

JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Okay, I've got to take the dog out (and various other things). Enjoy the rest of the game ..... I expect y'all to bring the Twins back.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Where's Willi? He's the ice cream correspondent. Brian, favorite ice cream and flavor?I've become partial to Gelato. I like it creamy and lacking air. Caramel is my favorite flavor... I like Coffee when I'm getting crazy but every single flavor trips my trigger. There is only one flavor I don't care for... Mint.

LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Hicks was actually the Twins' first-rounder in 2008, Trout was picked in '09. Twins picked Gibson that year (two picks before Trout), so your point stands...Knew that Hicks and Trout weren't in the same draft, but had forgotten that Gibson was the guy we picked ahead of him. Double bummer but good info. A bunch of other teams passed on Trout, and that's not my beef with the Twins. It's that we've been told for four years that Hicks is the second coming of Mickey Mantle, but found out after two bombs in the majors that he's not only unsure which side of the plate to hit from, but can't track a fly ball with two hands, a flashlight, and voice GPS.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Blown hit and run and it works out.... LOL...I love baseball.

It would either go off the rails and take everything in its path down... Or... become extremely lucid.
