I seem to remember hearing the raindrops on FSNO microphones in previous games too. Seems pretty amateurish.

Engineers are now installing parabolic microphones for the sole purpose of picking up the sound of rain.

 

By 2015... They will install a parabolic outside the rest room in the broadcast booth.

Small world. I sat next to her on my flight home from SABR.

True Story:

 

I was flying back from Baltimore... I had a Window seat and I was looking down at what I figured was West Virginia.

 

I hadn't said a word to the stranger next to me but for some reason I felt like sharing and I said to him... "You know... It sure doesn't look like much is happening in West Virginia from this height.

 

And he replied... "I like West Virginia... People from there... Keep to themselves".

 

It made the rest of the trip... Kinda uncomfortable.

I had an aunt who would ask anybody anything, anyplace ... but she would have found out his whole family tree, too.

 

So how did she figure out who it was?

Her step son showed her pictures of the White Sox pitchers at the time and she identified him from a photo array.

I'm not sure but I handled the situation like an adult. I spent the rest of the flight playing peek-a-boo with him.

I like JB a lot but... Is there any doubt anymore... She is obviously a Jinx.

Prospects + Playing Time = ???

It's been awhile since I took Algebra but I think you have to establish a value for prospects and for playing time.

 

I'm gonna have to defer to Ash on this one.
